This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application BitConvert: Crypto Converter (package name com.senolc.bitconvert, the “App”), published on Google Play by Vologi (Senol Cagir) (“we”, “us”, “the developer”). Contact: [email protected]. Website: vologi.com.

1. Summary

BitConvert does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information. The App uses third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, advertising and subscriptions, which may process the limited technical data described below.

2. Information stored on your device

Your preferences (favorite coins and currencies, selected currency, theme, language, entered amounts and calculator values) are stored locally on your device only. We do not receive this data.

3. Information collected by third-party services

• Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): collects app usage events and device/app information (e.g. app version, device model, OS version, language, approximate region derived from IP address, and an app-instance identifier) to help us understand how the App is used and to improve it.
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): collects crash reports and diagnostic data (stack traces, device model, OS version, app state at the time of the crash) to help us fix bugs.
• Google AdMob (Google LLC): the free version of the App displays ads. AdMob may collect and use the Android advertising ID, IP address and device information to serve and measure ads, and to personalize ads where permitted by law and your settings. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
• RevenueCat and Google Play Billing: if you purchase a subscription or in-app product to remove ads or unlock features, the purchase is processed by Google Play. RevenueCat, Inc. receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase/receipt information and basic device information to validate your entitlement. We never receive or store your payment card details.
• Google Play In-App Review: may be used to ask you to rate the App; this is handled by Google Play.

These providers handle data under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy, Firebase privacy information, AdMob data usage, RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

4. Network requests for market data

To show live crypto prices, charts and exchange rates, the App sends requests to market-data providers (such as the Binance public market-data API) and to our own data service. These requests contain the asset or currency pair requested and, as with any internet request, your IP address is visible to the server. We do not link these requests to your identity.

5. How we use information

We use the information above solely to operate and improve the App, fix crashes, serve ads, validate purchases and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data sharing

Data is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 3, who process it on our behalf or under their own terms. We do not share data with other third parties except where required by law.

7. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored data is deleted when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. Analytics, crash and purchase data held by third-party providers is retained according to their policies. To request deletion of data associated with you, email [email protected]; you can also reset your advertising ID in Android settings.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Contact [email protected] to exercise them.

11. Not financial advice

BitConvert provides information and calculation tools only. Nothing in the App is investment, financial or trading advice.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
